At Fukushi Shinwakai, we fully understand that every welfare facility has its own approach to providing care and services and that there is no single correct way. What matters here is that people who need support and their families have the full freedom to choose the support that best suits their needs.
Fukushi Shinwakai believes that individuals gain confidence and a sense of responsibility through accumulating everyday experiences. Thats why our support is guided by the mindset of "How much can they achieve?" and "How can they accomplish it? “ Finding their potential and nurture them fully”
Shinwakai staff don't simply seek fulfillment merely in providing assistance but rather in sharing the joy of this fulfillment with our service users creating a workplace where both staff and service users grow together.
We support disabled individuals to build thier own independence in the society, with the aim of enabling each person to live and work in their local community in a way that suits them and gives them peace of mind. Through partnerships with local companies, we are able to conduct work-based activities and even visit those companies. In addition, daily activities are conducted at each branch office to help individuals improve their work skills and level up their abilities.
We aim to support individuals to achieve their independence in society so they are prepared for life after their parents are no longer able to provide care. We provide assistance aimed at achieving both their personal (daily living) and emotional independence. We work to help them maximize their abilities and live as independently as possible by trying to understand each individual's unique needs and characteristics.
We aim to support employment and job creation for people with disabilities and for that we provide opportunities through cooperating with local companies through which we engage in made-to-order production of food ingredients and food products at our own in-house factory. Through this, our service users can gain hands-on experience and develop the necessary skills for independent work. We are committed to exploring employment possibilities while contributing to the local community, striving toward a forward-looking welfare initiative.
We work on developing their critical thinking, creativity, and focus through artistic expression, with the aim to develop well-rounded individuals. Art College initiative seeks to discover and cultivate artists and technical talent existed in our facilities, with the goal of commercializing their work and supporting their independent living in society.
At Fukushi Shinwa-Kai, we value community connections and regularly participate in local cleanup activities. Through these efforts, we integrate into the community and engage in awareness initiatives.
Over time, our presence has become recognized, with local residents reaching out to us and involving us in neighborhood activities, such as sharing community announcements. These activities continue to foster deeper connections.
We aim to support disabled individuals in achieving their independence by working and living within their local communities. We strive to foster understanding and inclusion through interactions with local students, volunteers, and community members. Rather than focusing on disabilities as limitations, we aim to create an environment where individuals with disabilities can lead ordinary lives as part of society despite their disabilities.
We hold seasonal events throughout the year, including sports tournaments, barbecues, and more. Activities such as overnight group trips (1 night, 2 days) are carried out with our service users taking the lead in planning and executing the entire process. We provide support and activites that encourages individuals to think, take action, and share the joy and sense of accomplishment with one another.
We tranform individual's unique ideas and creativity such as paintings and sculptures made in the Art College into commercial, marketable products and then sell them. These works mainly are featured at local events and community gatherings. We keep working on developing and producing new products through new concepts and approaches.
