S.T San

Current Job Description

At our Kanto office, we provide daytime support services like Type B employment support and daily life care, as well as group home support at night.
I’m part of the Shinwa Tokiwa Office, opened in July 2019, working as a life support staff member. My day-to-day includes watching over our service users during activities, writing daily reports out their progress, creating documents, and planning events and programs.

Motivation

I didn’t study welfare in school, so when I started, I honestly had no experience interacting with people with disabilities—it was all new to me.
But as I got to know each user better—their personality, their strengths, I started seeing them respond to me in their own ways. And just as my relationship with them began to take on new forms, I started to feel that this work is truly rewarding.
My current goal is to keep growing and shaping my future career path, without settling for my current state.

Message for Potential Applicants

Take some time to think deeply about what you want to do in the future and who you want to become. It’s perfectly fine if your answers are not definitive, or if they evolve after you start working.
I myself still face uncertainties about my future, but I believe that having a goal and moving toward it is essential in any career. Even if your goals change, the experiences and lessons you gain along the way will never be wasted. I wish you all the best in your job search.

Current Job Description

I provide support aimed at helping individuals with intellectual disabilities achieve greater independence. My work mainly involves assisting with daily living tasks, as well as supporting creative activities, light work, and physical activities such as walking. I also help users collaborate and work together in various activities.

Motivation

I enjoy working with my hands and thinking creatively, so I often propose ideas for seasonal decorations or crafts that users and I can create together. I also provide colored pencils, paints, and various other art materials to help users enjoy creative activities. It brings me great joy and a sense of fulfillment when I see users enthusiastically drawing or proudly displaying what they’ve made in their rooms.

Message for Potential Applicants

It's natural to feel uncertain about whether a job will suit you. At our facility, you can participate in trial experiences and observe our work environment and activities before making your decision. We have a diverse team where everyone can make the most of their individual strengths and interests. It's a workplace where you can truly thrive.

Current Job Description

I currently work as a life support staff member at the Deyashiki Branch, which provides day care services for individuals with severe intellectual disabilities.
My main work is to support each user in a way that allows them to feel safe and comfortable in their daily lives, while also encouraging as much independence as possible based on their individual abilities and needs.
Our daytime activities include creative arts, learning sessions, physical activities, and sometimes participation in community events or local clean-up efforts to promote community involvement.

We do a variety of activities during the day—like crafts, learning sessions, exercise, and even joining in on community events or local clean-ups to stay connected with the neighborhood.

Motivation

For me, the biggest motivation in this job is the people whether it’s our service users or the incredible senior staff I work alongside. The work I am doing has a direct impact on the lives of disabilities. I genuinely care for them and for people I work with which why I feel motivated to do my best on a daily base. I’m proud to be part of this work—it really matters, and that’s what makes it rewarding.

Message for Potential Applicants

No matter what job you choose, there will always be challenges and moments of hardship.
In those moments, it is the sense of purpose and motivation that helps you push through.
For me, that motivation comes from our service users and the support of my wonderful colleagues.
I’m grateful to have met such people in this workplace, and I hope you, too, will find a place where you can encounter such meaningful relationships.

Current Job Description

We create our very own original perfumes, all planned and produced them in-house, then sell them. Our team also gives in-person demonstrations at department stores and retail shops, and now we’re working on expanding our sales through new consignment partners.

Motivation

When a customer picks up one of our perfumes and when they express their happiness and satisfaction, it truly makes our day. Sharing that happiness gives us both pride and confidence in our work.
Thanks to the support of many people, we’ve even been able to sell our products at Kansai Airport and major department stores—something that continues to inspire us every day.
Our general goal is to raise awareness of our original fragrances and make it a product that more and more people will want to possess. We want to keep improving our products and make them even more special.

Message for Potential Applicants

A product we all created from scratch together ends up in the hands of a customer and that brings a smile to their face. Why not join us in this fulfilling work?
